Actress Jyothi Krishnaa shares concern about ‘Evil Eye’; falls sick; watch video

Actress Jyothi Krishnaa recently opened up about falling ill with fever and exhaustion shortly after hosting the International Business Conclave 2025 in Dubai. Jyothi shared a fun video on Instagram. Even though it was shared in a light-hearted manner, the video showed her visibly tired, wearing a mask, and resting after the high-profile event.

Jyothi Krishnaa adds a touch of humor

The actress playfully addressed the situation by joking about the “evil eye” in her post. Captioning her video, she wrote: “Do you believe in the evil eye? Theere Illa” (Absolutely not).

Fans react in a positive way

Fans flooded the comments with prayers, love, and playful messages, wishing her a speedy recovery. There were also funny comments. One wrote, “Karupp dress ittittun Kanneru thattiyo (If we wear black dress, will we get affected by this.)” Another one wrote, “Protect yourself from evil energy da..of course undennu ariyalo…sradhikkande ambane,” referring to Fahadh Faasil’s fun ‘Aavesham’ dialogue.

Proud moments in Dubai

Despite the brief illness, Jyothi expressed pride in hosting the International Business Conclave 2025, calling it an unforgettable experience. She shared: “Honoured to have hosted the International Business Conclave 2025 in Dubai today! Sharing the stage with such inspiring leaders… was truly a privilege. A day full of knowledge, connections, and unforgettable memories!”Meanwhile on the work front, Jyothi Krishna started her acting venture with the 2011 film ‘Bombay March 12’ where she played the role of Maya. She later appeared in several Malayalam films including ‘Last Bench’, ‘Orkut Oru Ormakoot’, ‘God For Sale’, ‘Ithu Pathiramanal’, ‘Dolls’, ‘Lisammayude Veedu’, and ‘Njaan’. Her big break happened with the Dileep starrer comedy entertainer ‘Life of Josutty’ which was directed by Jeethu Joseph and turned out to be a superhit. She was last seen in the 2018 film ‘Aami’ starring Manju Warrier in the lead.
