Jolly LLB 3 witnesses biggest Monday drop of Jolly LLB series

Akshay Kumar’s ‘Jolly LLB 3’ witnesses nearly 73 % drop on Monday; the biggest drop of Jolly LLB series

Akshay Kumar had a successful run in 2025. His film Jolly LLB 3, reuniting him with Arshad Warsi, opened well. It earned Rs 53.50 crore over the weekend. However, collections dropped sharply on Monday. The film only made Rs 5.75 crore. This is the biggest drop in the Jolly LLB series. Akshay Kumar has several films lined up.

The year 2025 has been a year of respite for Akshay Kumar who has been struggling to find box office success since the Pandemic. And this he has already delivered three successes with Sky Force, Kesari 2 and Housefull 5. And with his latest film Jolly LLB 3 which saw him reunite with Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla and Subhash Kapoor he was expected to deliver a dream run with 4 back to back hits. But after a good weekend where the film collected Rs 53.50 crore, Jolly LLB 3 dropped to just Rs 5.75 crore witnessing a drop of nearly 73 %, the biggest in the trilogy till now. When the franchise began in 2013 with Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani, the film had collected Rs 4.95 crore on Sunday and on Monday the numbers came down to Rs 1.98 crore – a 60 % drop. When Jolly LLB 2 was made with Akshay as the lead, the film had collected Rs 19.95 crore on Sunday and on Monday the film collected Rs 7.26 crore – a drop of nearly 63 %. The drop for the first two installments were in the range of 60 % but for the third instalment the number jumped to almost 73 %. This might not be a good sign for the future of the film. The film collection will surely jump on Tuesday as the theatre owners usually drop prices on Tuesday to attract more crowds on a weekday. But going by the trend- at this point the film doesn’t look like it will cross the Rs 80 crore mark in the first week. Akshay now has a series of films lined up with Priyadarshan starting from Bhoot Bangla with Tabu, Paaresh Rawal and Wamiqa Gabbbi. He then also has Haiwaan with Saif Ali Khan and Saiyami Kher again with Priyadarshan and there are talks about Hera Pheri 3 finally going on floor with Paresh and Suniel Shetty.
