Jennifer Aniston’s old comment about Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie split

'That's karma for you! ’When Jennifer Aniston commented about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s split

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce has been at the forefront of headlines for years now. From splitting their assets to the abuse allegations, there have been a lot of topics involved in the ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’ stars’ split. Years ago, Pitt’s ex-wife and ‘Friends’ star Jennifer Aniston also had something to say about the couple’s parting. Here’s what she said.

When Jennifer Aniston talked about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s split

In an old report from US Weekly, the ‘Just Go With It’ star talked about ‘karma’ while discussing the couple’s official split. Only a day after the couple announced that they were mutually parting ways, Aniston was quite open about her views on the divorce. As per a statement from the report, she cited that “Yeah, that’s karma for you!” The report also cited that the actress “admittedly feels sort of satisfied about Brad and Angelina’s split” at the time back in 2016. Talking about karma, the actress was referring to whatever went down between her and Pitt almost 11 years prior that led to their split. The report further read that “She didn’t feel that Angelina was truly the one who Brad was meant to stay with. She always felt that Angelina was too complex for him. He’s a pretty simple guy.” The report also stated that the actress did not have any hard feelings towards the ‘F1’ actor or Jolie and that she wanted both of them to be happy. Though she still felt ‘satisfied’ over the relationship’s ending.

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s marriage

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston met in 1998, and two years later, had one of the most lavish weddings in Hollywood history at the time. The two were together for a few years and even had a house together. Though when Pitt starred in ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith,’ rumors of a love triangle started circulating. Following this turmoil, the two officially parted ways in 2005 and filed for divorce.Last year, in an interview with Vanity Fair, Aniston opened up about their marriage and the love triangle that made headlines at the time. She cited that “it was such juicy reading for people. If they didn’t have their soap operas, they had their tabloids. It’s a shame that it had to happen, but it happened, and boy did I take it personally.”

About Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

Pitt and Jolie admittedly fell in love while working on ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith,’ though they did not get together until Pitt was officially divorced. Later on, in July 2005, Jolie did a spread for W magazine, where the two stars were seen looking like a happy couple. In 2014, after two pregnancies and adopting three children as well, the two officially tied the knot. However, this did not last long. In 2016, they announced that they were separating, and in 2019 were declared to be legally single. In 2024, the two of them officially reached a settlement in their divorce cases. Go to Source
