Janhvi Kapoor recently revealed how she tackles male egos in the industry. The actress stated that she acts like a ‘dumb’ just not to offend anyone. Janhvi Kapoor reveals why she plays dumb

On the show ‘Two Much’, Janhvi Kapoor was joined by filmmaker Karan Johar. During the episode, hosts Kajol and Twinkle Khanna asked the young actress about the challenges she goes through in the industry. Janhvi said, “I understand that I am coming from a place of privilege in my work environment. But I feel for me it’s been (about) navigating egos, male egos.”The actress shared that recently she has been in “rooms” where she can talk without hesitation. On the other hand, the young starlet also added, “But I have been in rooms and situations where I kind of need to precede someone and pretend to be dumb.”The actress expressed that one needs to pick their battles and deal in a way so that putting forth a point would not rub anyone the wrong way.Soon, Twinkle Khanna agreed with what Janhvi said and added that she had faced the same when she was young. The ‘Mela’ actress shared, “I never understood the need to be diplomatic.”
