‘IT: Welcome To Derry’ Episode 3: When and where to watch

Gearing up for the release of episode 3, the weekly horror will be released on November 9, 2025, on HBO and Max. Following the weekend pattern, the episodes will continue to release until the finale on December 14, 2025. Giving the darker edge, the show gained 5.7 million viewers within its first three days of release, according to Variety. Serving as a prequel to the iconic 2017 and 2019 films, the series would be divided into three seasons, where the second chapter will explore the year 1935. “We wanted to raise the bar higher in terms of shock value,” the co-creator Andy Musichetti said about the ground-breaking opening sequence of the film in an interview with Deadline, before adding, “It’s about a self-imposed mandate of opening with an event that is shocking enough that you put the audience in a position where nothing is taken for granted, where nothing is safe in this world.”

About ‘IT: Welcome To Derry’

Based on the novel by Stephen King, the story revolves around the young boy, Matty, who goes missing from a town in 1962 after a ride goes wrong while trying to escape, only to experience strange voices and eerie visions later. The little things feel wrong, and the danger grows moment by moment – as the tension rises to the extent where the discomfort kicks in. As Bill Skarsgård reprised his role as Pennywise, the other cast members include Clara Stack as Lilly Bainbridge, Mikkal Karim-Fidler as Teddy, Jack Molloy Leault as Phil, and Miles Ekhardt as Matty.
