Inside Venezuela Fury’s wedding: family feud and Crocs controversy

Tyson Fury's daughter Venezuela Fury's wedding build-up: Family tensions and unexpected Crocs craze

Venezuela Fury, the eldest daughter of former boxing champion Tyson Fury and his wife Paris, is just hours away from walking down the aisle. The 16-year-old is set to marry her fiancé Noah Price this weekend in what is expected to be a lavish ceremony, reportedly being filmed for the family’s hit series ‘At Home with the Furys.’ The young couple got engaged during Venezuela’s birthday celebrations in September last year, and the countdown to the big day has been anything but quiet.According to a report by The Sun, it is believed the Fury family has chosen the luxury Comis Hotel and Resort on the Isle of Man for the wedding, where Tyson and Paris relocated with their children. The couple is said to be marrying at a church ceremony on Saturday, followed by a reception at the nearby four-star Comis Hotel and Golf Club.

Tyson Fury’s ‘zero’ involvement and Paris stepping up

Proud dad Tyson Fury, 37, has admitted he has had absolutely no involvement in his daughter’s wedding planning, having been focused entirely on his latest boxing comeback. It has been Paris, 36, who has been by Venezuela’s side throughout the preparations.Earlier this month, fans saw the mother-daughter duo visit a bridal store, with Venezuela sharing a snap of herself holding a large bag with a smile on her face next to her mom, writing, “Said yes to the dress.” The teen has been keeping followers updated with behind-the-scenes content, sharing pictures of bridal nails, a fresh golden tan, and a growing collection of wedding gifts. One unboxing moment stood out in particular, when Venezuela received a decorative crystal vase as a special wedding gift from Netflix. As she unwrapped it for her followers, Paris said: “Oh, that’s lovely! Oh, it’s beautiful.” Venezuela lifted the vase and said, “Check me out!” Her mom agreed: “That’s very gypsy-esque. That’s lovely.”

The family feud over Venezuela’s age

Not everyone in the furry camp has been celebrating. Tyson’s father, John Fury, who has had a well-documented falling out with his son, voiced serious concerns about the couple’s relationship during an appearance on ‘At Home with the Furys.’ Speaking to sons Tyson and Tommy, 27, John made his position clear. After Tyson described Noah as a “decent fella,” John was far from convinced. “They’re children! I don’t think she’s mature enough for anything like — she’s still a baby,” he said. When Tyson pointed out that Venezuela would be 16, John fired back: “On my watch a 15-year-old should never have a boyfriend, never.”Paris has defended the decision publicly, drawing on her experience. Speaking on ‘This Morning’ recently, she said, “Venezuela is so mature for her years. She’s done so much in such a short time just because of who she is and the fact that she’s got six younger brothers and sisters that she’s helped bring up. I can’t deny it because I was 17 when I got engaged. She’s obviously following in my footsteps, so how can I judge her in any way? I know she’s young. But I think she’s found the person she loves, and if she’s happy, I will completely support her.”

The Crocs dilemma that has got fans talking

Amid all the preparations, Venezuela has also been wrestling with one important decision: what to wear on her feet. The bride has already confirmed she plans to swap her heels for white Crocs during the reception, but the debate has gone even further than that.”I’m having a bit of a struggle with what shoes to wear. Do I wear white New Balance trainers or white Crocs? I don’t know. Or maybe I wear blue Crocs? I’m not sure,” she told her followers. She has also revealed she wanted a personalized bride tracksuit for the big day, very much in keeping with the Fury family’s style.Guests can expect to be well looked after when it comes to comfort. Reports suggest the Furys have been stocking up on white flip-flops for guests whose feet get sore after dancing, a detail that has already generated plenty of conversation online. With the ceremony just hours away, all eyes are on the Isle of Man as the Fury family prepares for what is set to be one of their biggest occasions yet.
