Aamir Khan and Imran Khan were spotted at the airport with their respective families, and the rare family mood blew up online quickly. Additionally, Aamir Khan’s partner, Gauri Spratt, joined with her son.

The video that went viral across social media platforms shows Imran and Aamir striking poses for the camera at the airport. Their sisters and mothers were present as well. Aamir’s girlfriend Gauri also arrived with her son, and it looked like they’re all jetting off for a New Year’s getaway.

Imran Khan’s journey from child star to rom-com hero

Imran Khan began working as a child actor in small roles in ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ and ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’, with his uncle, Aamir Khan. His big break was with in 2008 with ‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na’ opposite Genelia D’Souza. Directed by Abbas Tyrewala and produced by Aamir Khan, the rom-com saw him playing the sweet Jai Singh Rathore. Thereafter, he went on to star in rom-coms like ‘I Hate Luv Storys’, ‘Break Ke Baad’, and ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’. In 2011, he tried dark comedy ‘Delhi Belly’, produced by Aamir Khan. Imran Khan will be seen in ‘Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos’ with Aamir Khan, Vir Das and Mithila Palkar.

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan recently dropped big news on his dream ‘Mahabharat’ project, calling it a passion that’s spanned decades. Reportedly, the prep work has been kicked off within the team, and scripting will begin in the next couple of months. On the work front, Aamir Khan was last seen in ‘Sitare Zameen Par’ with Genelia D’Souza.
