‘Pushpa’ actor Allu Arjun is reportedly set to miss the latest hearing in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case. According to the latest reports, the actor will not be physically present before the Nampally Court in Hyderabad during the scheduled proceedings. Reports from India Today suggest that Allu Arjun’s legal representatives are expected to attend the hearing on his behalf. Reports further indicate that a request has been submitted seeking permission for the actor to participate virtually instead of appearing in person.

Case linked to ‘Pushpa 2’ premiere tragedy

The issue is related to the tragic incident that occurred during a special screening of ‘Pushpa 2’ in Hyderabad in December 2024. The event attracted a massive crowd and this led to serious law-and-order concerns outside the theatre premises. Reports indicate that the court had directed several accused individuals, including the actor, to appear before it for the ongoing hearing.The incident occurred at Sandhya Theatre in Chikkadpally when large numbers of people gathered to catch a glimpse of the actor during a special screening event. During the chaos that followed, a woman lost her life. Her young son also suffered serious injuries and required extensive medical treatment. Following the incident, the actor was taken into custody as part of the investigation before later obtaining legal relief through the courts. The matter has remained under judicial consideration ever since. According to reports, Allu Arjun has been named as Accused No. 11 in the case. Reportedly, financial support was extended to the affected family.

Allu Arjun’s recent gesture draws praise from fans

Allu Arjun recently earned appreciation for a touching interaction with a young girl named Shraddha, who is undergoing treatment for leukaemia. The meeting was facilitated by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. During the interaction, the actor spent time with the child and recreated memorable moments from Pushpa: The Rise.Sharing a video from the meeting, a fan page wrote: “Spreading Smiles Beyond Cinema Icon Star @alluarjun interacted with Shraddha through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, creating a joyful and unforgettable moment for the young girl. A gesture that reflects his genuine warmth and compassion.”

On the professional front, the actor is preparing for his next big-screen outing in Raaka, directed by Atlee. On the oither hand, Allu Arjun’s ‘Happy be Happy’ was re-release recently in Kerala and it got much traction from the ‘Mallu Arjun’ fans.
