‘Idli Kadai’ first review: Dhanush’s film a sure-shot family puller

'Idli Kadai' first review: Dhanush's film a sure-shot family puller, 'A simple plot'

‘Idli Kadai’, directed by and featuring Dhanush, is all set to hit big screens across the globe tomorrow (Oct 1). The Dussehra release takes a holiday advantage, and the rural drama is anticipated to open well at the box office. The reservations for the film are going steadily across locations, while the FDFS for the film to begin at 9 AM in Tamil Nadu and 6:30 AM in some locations. So, the reviews for the film will be out on social media ahead of the release in the home state. But here is the first review of Dhanush’s ‘Idli Kadai’.

First review hails ‘Idli Kadai’

The review shared by Richard Mahesh on his X page states, “#IdlyKadai – With its emotional core, this one’s a sure-shot family puller. Insider – A refreshing watch with a simple plot, poised to become a slow-burn hit driven by word of mouth. #Dhanush.” Even though the early review didn’t have any hyping statement, the film’s emotional and refreshing plot gains attention, and Dhanush’s film is going to be a touching one to watch in cinemas.

Dhanush’s film promises to be the biggest multi-language opener

‘Idli Kadai’ also features Arun Vijay, Nithya Menen, Prakash Raj, Sathyaraj, Shalini Pandey, Rajkiran, and others, while the music for the film is composed by GV Prakash Kumar. The songs have been ruling the musical charts across platforms. The teaser and trailer released earlier gave a hint about the film’s story, and Dhanush plays a passionate culinarian in a challenging role. Arun Vijay plays the antagonist, and the popular hero returning as an antagonist adds power to the rural drama. ‘Idli Kadai’ is releasing in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi simultaneously, and the film is anticipated to be Dhanush’s best opener among his recent releases.
