Dhanush Gets Emotional As Child Actor’s Mother Speaks At ‘Idli Kadai’ Event

Directed by Dhanush, ‘Idli Kadai’ features a stunning cast including Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, Sathyaraj, Shalini Pandey, and Rajkiran. ‘Idli Kadai’ received mixed reviews from the audiences. One Twitter review reads, “#IdliKadai Review: A clean, feel-good watch rooted in family, emotions, and nostalgia. Some films don’t chase big twists or heavy action — they just win you over with simplicity. Idli Kadai is exactly that kind of film. A warm, rooted rural drama that feels like comfort food — nothing flashy, but it fills your heart. @dhanushkraja does double duty as actor and director, and he nails it.” Another review reads, “Idli Kadai is a feel-good family drama that works best when it focuses on emotions, values, and relationships. It’s not a groundbreaking film, but it’s honest in its intentions. If you enjoy heartwarming village stories with strong performances, it will connect with you. If you’re looking for freshness, unpredictability, or edge, it might feel safe and familiar. Idli Kadai is a film to be felt, not just watched.”
