Tamil actress Narvini Dery has levelled grave allegations against actor Ajmal Ameer, sharing details of an alleged incident that occurred in 2018.Speaking to the Tamil YouTube channel Trend Toxi, Narvini revealed that Ajmal misbehaved with her after calling her for what was supposed to be an audition. Known for her roles in Sinamkol and Uyirvarai Inithai, the actress said she managed to escape the situation only “by sheer luck.”

Incident during alleged audition

In the interview Narvini recounted that she first met Ajmal at a Chennai mall while shooting for another project. After a brief interaction, Ajmal reportedly claimed he was looking for a heroine for his upcoming film and exchanged contact numbers. Later, he invited her for an audition, even after she mentioned that she was scheduled to fly to Denmark the following day. When she arrived at the location—a less-known hotel—Ajmal allegedly told her that his team had stepped out and insisted she come inside. Sensing something was wrong, Narvini said she became increasingly uncomfortable with his behaviour.

‘Do you know how handsome I am?’ – Ajmal Ameer

According to Narvini, Ajmal played music, held her hand, and asked her to dance, boasting, “Do you know how handsome I am? Do you know how many girls chase me?” When she refused, he allegedly tried to hug her. The actress said she resisted and managed to escape after Ajmal received a phone call and the room boy rang the bell. “I was lucky to get out that moment,” she said, adding that Ajmal later continued sending her messages and reacting to her social media posts.Narvini revealed that she chose not to file a police complaint then, fearing it might affect her studies and future career.
