Huma shares excitement about working with Yash

Huma Qureshi shares excitement about working with Yash in ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’; Says, 'It will be well worth the wait'

After impressing audiences with her performances in films like ‘Maharani’ and ‘Tarla’, Huma Qureshi is now gearing up for her next big project, ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’, starring Rocking Star Yash. In an interview, Huma shared her excitement about joining the ambitious film and praised its grand scale and creative vision.

Huma on working with Yash and Geetu Mohandas

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actress said, “It’s a mammoth production and it was great to collaborate with a star of Yash’s magnitude and director of Geetu Mohandas’ calibre. They have created something beautiful and exceptional, and it will be well worth the wait.”

Huma on future south Projects

The actress also mentioned that she’s eager to explore more South Indian films but is patiently waiting for the right opportunities to come her way. “I want to work more frequently in South, but as yet, nothing really exciting has come up.”

A festive release for ‘Toxic’

‘Toxic’ is set to release during a major festive period, coinciding with Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, and Eid. This timing gives the film a powerful four-day box office window, making it one of the most anticipated releases of the season.

Adivi Sesh on Dacoit’s delay and clash with ‘Toxic’

In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Adivi Sesh spoke about the delay of his upcoming film ‘Dacoit’ and its new release date now coinciding with Yash’s ‘Toxic’. The actor said, I have always taken a long time to make films. Earlier, no one knew me, so it didn’t matter. With Major, people felt it (the delay) was due to Covid-19. I have always taken up to two years to make a film. But this time, a little delay happened because I injured myself. That set a situation where I couldn’t do the remaining heavy-duty action scenes for 2-3 months. I am still healing. I’m on the mend.”

‘Toxic’ promises a power-packed cast and Pan-India appeal

‘Toxic’ features a star-studded ensemble alongside Yash, including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, Akshay Oberoi, and Sudev Nair. Reports suggest that Kiara has already completed her portions, while the rest of the cast will join the upcoming schedules soon.Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film has been shot simultaneously in English and Kannada and will release in multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. Jointly produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ is slated to hit theatres nationwide on March 19, 2026.
