Showcasing the Targaryen civil war, the Battle of the Gullet was fought between Dragonstone and Driftmark. With the naval army in the epic sea confrontation, the water endured blood, sacrifices, and dragons. One key loss includes Jacaerys Velaryon (played by Harry Collett), who is Rhaenyra’s elder son and an important dragon rider, according to Just Jared. He went down in brutal combat and took his dragon, Vermax, with him. Another loss includes Sharako Lohar (played by Abigail Thorn), whose blood Alyn of Hull shed with stabs and eventual drowning.

Corlys Velaryon (played by Steve Toussaint) has been weakened, as his forces have been shattered. In the book, his one-third fleet is destroyed in the battle. Meanwhile, Tyland Lannister (played by Jefferson Hall) is presumed dead after going missing, per USA Today.
