Britney Spears, the ‘Toxic’ singer, is still processing the incident when her belongings were stolen from her house. The 44-year-old esteemed pop artist confessed that the incident caused her a physiological reaction. Becoming a rebel on social media, the singer displayed herself as “cheap and probably secretly angry.” Here’s a closer look at Britney Spears blasting an incident from the past about robbery.

Britney Spears reveals her thoughts behind becoming a rebel

Recalling the disastrous incident from May 2024, Spears admitted that her clothes and jewellery were stolen, and she felt completely helpless. “Not a victim, I’m just curious as to how people were able to make me feel so cheap and crazy when my coats, jewellery and half my wardrobe went missing 3 years ago…,” she said in the caption of her Instagram post. Sharing the carousel of her outfits, the ‘Womaniser’ singer expressed, “I’m going back to that week because it actually did something to me physiologically when the response was nothing we can do about it … it 100 per cent hurt me emotionally and felt completely helpless.”

Britney Spears questions the intentions of the theft

Expressing that she does not necessarily miss her clothes, Spears claimed to rebel on social media as a countermeasure. “I will say ever since that happened, I 100 per cent rebelled on Instagram and showed myself as cheap and probably secretly angry,” she further wrote. Questioning the intentions of the theft, she asked whether the involved members knew exactly what they were doing, or whether the singer was making theories in her mind.

About Britney Spears and the theft

In May 2024, Britney Spears revealed that she was feeling frightened after her belongings were stolen from her space. “So you can see for real all my jewellery was stolen. It’s hard to buy new now because I’m scared it will go missing,” she said in the clip, showcasing how her jewellery went missing. Several fans expressed their concern and extended their support to the artist.
