Here’s why Dharmendra was admitted to the hospital

Here's the reason why Dharmendra was admitted to the hospital a few days ago, staff member had shared details; Sunny Deol's team says the actor is stable

News of Dharmendra’s deteriorating health flooded the internet on Monday. He was admitted to the Breach Candy hospital while fans and well wishes continued to pray for his recovery. Soon, there were rumours that the actor has passed away. However, Sunny Deol’s team issued a statement urging people not to spread false news. The statement read, “Mr Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. Kindly don’t indulge in spreading false rumours regarding his health. Request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family’s right to privacy.” However, here’s why Dharmendra was admitted to the hospital. The actor was taken to the hospital on November 1 and it was said to be a routine check up. He has been under the care of top doctors at the hospital. At that time, journalist Vickey Lalwani revealed on his social media that he spoke to a staff member from the hospital who said, “Dharmendra came in complaining of breathlessness. He is in the ICU and he is sleeping now.” The staff member also said that Dharmendra was stable and there was nothing to worry. “No, right now nothing to worry. He is stable. His parameters are okay—the heart rate is 70, the blood pressure is 140 by 80. His urine output is also good.” When asked why he was rushed to the hospital, the hospital staff member said, “He came in complaining of breathlessness. He is in the ICU.”Later, it was confirmed by Hema Malini that the actor is stable when she made an airport appearance after Dharmendra’s hospitalisation. While it could be that Dharmendra’s health deteriorated further on Monday, Hema took to her social media and urged fans to pray for his recovery. She said, “I thank everyone for their concern about Dharam ji who is in hospital for observation. He is being continuously monitored and we are all with him.🙏 I request you all to pray for his welfare and speedy recovery.” Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Govinda and Ameesha Patel were seen visiting Dharmendra in the hospital on Monday night, apart from his family members, Hema Malini, Esha Deol, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol.
