‘He is making Taj Mahal’: Farah Khan left speechless as Dilip boasts his four-storey home

'He is making Taj Mahal': Farah Khan left speechless as cook Dilip boasts his four-storey home beats TV actor's house

What started as a simple Vlog visit to TV star Samarth Jurel’s new home turned into one of the most entertaining moments in the ongoing saga of filmmaker Farah Khan and her cook-turned-YouTube sensation Dilip. When Farah told Dilip he would one day have a house like Samarth’s, Dilip casually informed her that his house was already bigger, leaving Farah visibly stunned, Samarth highly amused, and the internet completely delighted. The exchange is the latest chapter in one of social media’s most unlikely and genuinely heart-warming success stories.

Farah Khan is stunned by Dilip’s response

During the vlog, as Farah admired Samarth’s new home and called it a “beautiful abode,” she turned to Dilip with what she intended as a kind, aspirational comment. “One day, you too will have a house like this,” she told him.Dilip’s response was immediate and entirely matter-of-fact. “Ma’am, my house is much bigger than this.”

A visibly embarrassed Farah could only manage: “What are you saying?”Samarth, to his credit, backed Dilip up completely. “I saw your house. It is definitely a huge house,” he confirmed. Farah then revealed the full scale of Dilip’s ambitions: “It is still under construction. He is making Taj Mahal.”The conversation took another turn when Samarth asked Farah about the size of her own home. “You have a two-floor house, right?” he asked. Farah corrected him: “No, I have a three-floor house. But Dilip is constructing a four-floor house.”

Samarth Jurel’s observation

The conversation shifted from houses to something more meaningful when Samarth praised Dilip’s inspiring journey and asked Farah directly: “He is lucky for you. Do you agree with me?”Farah’s reply was characteristically honest: “And I am lucky for him.”Samarth quipped, “With that logic, you are lucky for a lot of people.” Farah eventually conceded with a smile: “He is lucky for me.”But then came the punchline. Farah immediately followed up with: “Now you’ve revealed the secret. He’ll ask me to increase his salary.”

More about Farah Khan’s cook Dilip

The story of Dilip’s rise is one of social media’s most genuinely inspiring. Farah Khan has employed him for over a decade but it is their YouTube channel that has transformed his financial life. In a previous vlog featuring Shruti Haasan, Farah confirmed that Dilip earns significantly through YouTube. When Shruti asked whether Dilip receives additional fees for the videos, Farah replied: “Yes, he gets a lot… more than everyone here put together.”Farah has also previously revealed that Dilip owns a three-storey bungalow in Bihar with six bedrooms, with a four-storey construction currently underway. The success of the channel has also allowed Farah to shift Dilip’s children to an English-medium school.

About Farah Khan and Dilip’s YouTube channel

Farah Khan and Dilip have become one of the most beloved duos on Indian social media, their natural chemistry, easy banter and the genuine warmth between employer and employee creating content that resonates far beyond typical celebrity vlogging. The channel has attracted millions of viewers, generated significant income for both, and turned Dilip into a recognisable face in his own right. Go to Source
