Amid the buzz around the film, the lead actor might have taken a dig at ‘Saiyaara’ star Ahaan Panday. A netizen praised Harshavardhan Rane’s character from ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’, saying that it was more sincere and madly in love. Comparing it to Ahaan Panday’s Krish Kapoor from ‘Saiyaara’, she stated that the lead character of Mohit Suri’s film was a “womaniser.”

Soon, Harshvardhan Rane took to the comment section of the post and wrote, “Ma’am, aapki kismat mein bhi ek aisa ladka LIKHA hai (Ma’am, a guy like that is written in your destiny as well).” A person added, “You really put Krish Kapoor and Vikramaditya in the same line? Krish Kapoor is 10000000000x better.” A comment read, “Wes yes… this movie!! And act of him @harshvardhanrane.” “Krish Kapoor forever and ever and ever,” one wrote.
