Harsh Gujral gets roasted for joking about using moisturizer

Comedian-actor Harsh Gujral gets roasted for joking about a woman using moisturizer; ‘Kanpur ke ladke mitti lagate hain’

In recent years, comedy has become a serious business in India. After artists like Kapil Sharma, Bharti Singh, standup comedy reached another level, and currently some of the names that are making their name in the industry include Harsh Gujral. The comedian-actor is known for her unfiltered crowd work, and recently, during the same, he got a taste of his own medicine. Harsh during one of his latest performances, he joked about women using moisturizer, and in return, he got roasted. Read on to know more about how the roaster got roasted!

What did Harsh Gujral say?

It was like just another day, just another crowd banter, which left everyone in splits. Harsh just asked a woman what she was doing, to which she casually replied, “Sardiyan aa rahi hain, moisturiser lga rhi hu skin ke liye acha hota hai. (Winter is coming, I’m applying moisturiser. It’s good for the skin)”This gave Harsh a window of opportunity to flaunt his quirky replies, and he quipped, “Maine poocha kya aa rahi hai? Hume bata rahi ho? Hum Kanpur ke launde hain, hum mitti lagate hain mooh par (Did I ask what you’re applying? We are boys from Kanpur, we apply mud on our faces).”Yes, he made the crowd laugh, but the same audience laughed louder when the woman fired back with her wit and said, “Vo toh lag hi rha hai (It already looks like it).”

Harsh Gujral appreciated the comeback

Taking the comeback in a completely sportive way, Harsh called the woman savage and mentioned, “You roasted the roaster himself. To hell with my show.”The friendly roast continued, and Harsh asked all the details about the moisturizer. In the end, he asked the woman’s boyfriend about the benefits of the moisturiser. Interestingly, the boyfriend didn’t utter a word, and the crowd’s laughter got even louder.
