Hardik-Mahieka sail out of city amid engagement buzz

Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya was spotted on a surprise outing in Mumbai with his rumoured girlfriend, Mahieka Sharma. A day after India’s victory at the T20 World Cup against New Zealand, Hardik and Mahieka were seen continuing the celebrations while on a private getaway.The couple was photographed walking hand-in-hand near the iconic Gateway of India. As soon as Hardik stepped out, he was surrounded by shutterbugs. Playing the doting boyfriend, the cricketer was seen holding his lady love’s hand as they made their way to their waiting speed boat.

For the special outing, both Pandya and Sharma coordinated their outfits in shades of blue. While the hunk rocked a printed shirt with white pants, Mahieka stunned in an elegant blue dress and high heels. Hardik was then seen helping his lady love on the boat before he stepped on and cuddled with a pooch.

Hardik and Mahieka to take romance to next level?

Surrounded by security personnel, the pair was all smiles as they sailed out of the city for a private getaway. This spotting comes amid buzz that the couple’s romance is getting serious. Not only has Mahieka been spotted with a diamond ring on her finger, but she was also seen at the semi finals, bonding with Hardik’s son, Agastya and taking her place in the VIP box along with the wives of the other team India players. Rumours of Hardik and Mahieka secretly getting engaged have long been doing the rounds online. However, the model appeared to shut down the claims, insisting that the diamond ring that she often sports on her ring finger is nothing more than just nice jewellery. Speculation about an engagement began doing the rounds after videos of the couple’s special pooja ceremony went viral online. In the clip, the couple was seen offering prayers while in the presence of 4 priests, chanting mantras. Before the World Cup finals, Hardik and Mahieka were even spotted heading to the famous Siddhivinayak temple to offer prayers together. There, they were seen praying with one shawl over both their shoulders. Pandya was last married to Natasa Stankovic, with whom he shares a son. The couple announced their divorce and official separation on July 18, 2024, ending their four-year marriage.
