‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ OTT release

‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ OTT release: When and where to watch Varun Dhawan starrer rom-com after its theatrical release?

‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ has already emerged as one of the most talked-about Bollywood releases of June 2026. Starring Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde, the romantic comedy is gearing up for its theatrical debut on June 5, 2026. Even before the film hits cinemas, details regarding its OTT release have started making headlines. The movie also marks the fourth collaboration between Varun Dhawan and his filmmaker father David Dhawan after successful entertainers like ‘Judwaa 2’, ‘Main Tera Hero’ and ‘Coolie No. 1’.

‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ release date shift changed the box office clash

Interestingly, the film was initially supposed to release on May 22, 2026. At the time, it was expected to face competition from Ananya Panday and Lakshya starrer ‘Chand Mera Dil’. However, the makers later revised the release calendar and postponed the rom-com to June 5. The scheduling change reportedly came after the postponement of Yash’s ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’.

Which OTT platform will stream the movie?

According to the official poster of ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’, the film will stream on ZEE5 following its theatrical run. While the makers have not yet confirmed an exact digital premiere date, Bollywood films generally arrive on streaming platforms within 45 to 60 days after their cinema release. With the trailer launch expected soon, fans are eagerly waiting to see Varun return to his signature rom-com space once again.

Varun Dhawan’s update on social media regarding the new release date

Confirming the new release date, Varun Dhawan took to Instagram and wrote, “JUNE 5th 2026 in theatres.
