Gulshan Devaiah pokes fun at fake paparazzi interactions

Gulshan Devaiah pokes fun at Bollywood stars’ fake paparazzi interactions; netizens call it ‘savage and hilarious’

Gulshan Devaiah is currently basking in the success of his latest film ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’, which has created a huge buzz and earned over Rs 550 crore at the domestic box office. While fans continue to praise his powerful performance, the actor recently grabbed attention for a completely different reason. A new video of him has gone viral on social media, where he is seen hilariously mocking how Bollywood celebrities often behave in front of the paparazzi.

Gulshan Devaiah mocks celebrity behaviour before paparazzi

With his trademark wit and charm, the ‘Hunterrr’ perfectly mimicked the overly polite and dramatic way many stars act when cameras start flashing. As soon as Devaiah faced the paps, he slipped into character and said in an exaggeratedly sweet tone, “Khaana kha liya aapne? Kha ke jaana.” His face and voice clearly showed that he was making fun of the fake politeness many stars show when talking to the media. He added, “Woh ‘Khana khaya aapne?’ aise hi puchte hai na? ‘Kaise ho aap log? Happy Diwali, khana kha ke jana. Aur mere birthday pe main cake laaonga, vo kaatenge hum log saath mein’.”Gulshan took the joke further by asking someone to throw garbage on the street where he was standing and then picking it up himself in a playful, serious way. The funny act highlighted how some celebrities perform small “good deeds” just for the cameras. His performance made the paparazzi laugh out loud.

Fans praise Gulshan Devaiah’s viral funny video

One X user wrote, “Gajab expose kiya.” Another commented, “Hilarious 🤣🤣 true actor.”Someone even tagged Gulshan and asked, “Are you the definition of savage and sarcasm??🤣🤣” while another admirer wrote, “Man you are too good. You won our hearts. Hope to see you soon in cinemas.” Fans appreciated that Gulshan used humour to call out the fake smiles and over-the-top politeness that often accompany celebrity appearances.

Gulshan Devaiah on his negative role in ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’

Gulshan is also being praised for his powerful portrayal of Kulashekara in ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’, alongside Rishab Shetty. The film has been a massive hit, earning critical and commercial success for its gripping story and strong performances. In an interview with Moneycontrol, Gulshan revealed what drew him to the project and why he said yes to a negative role. He said, “Never say never. I want to do things where I can really have a genuine conviction… From the first film. Because I’m a fan. I saw the first film. It blew me away… it’s almost like you are getting possessed.”Speaking further, he explained, “So never say never to negative parts unless that’s a part that compels me to say that no, you have to do this. But I want to have a genuine point of interest also in exploring that part and being a part of that story. It’s usually the character. First, it’s the character and then how that character is in the story. And it has to be genuine from me. Because I’m a fan. I saw the first film. It blew me away. And it’s one of the best climaxes I might have ever experienced. Not seen. Experienced. Because when that… When his framing and Rishabh’s performance and Ajinish’s music kicks in, it’s almost like you are getting possessed.”
