Grok explains why Anupam Kher loses 90k followers on X

Anupam Kher loses 90k followers on X in 15 days: Fans ask Grok for explanation; here’s what the answer was

Recognising the social media shifts, Anupam Kher shared his concerns and despair on his social media handle after he lost nearly 900,000 followers in the last 15 days. After tagging the richest man in the world, and the tech giant, Elon Musk, the actor asked the reason for the massive change.

Citing that the post was an observation and not a complaint, Kher asked if Musk or anyone from the team knew what was happening in the tech world, as the instant loss left him perplexed. Rushing to the scene, many fans opined about the situation, and some even included the AI assistant, Grok. “Dear Mr Elon Musk, I have lost more than 900000 followers in the last 15days! Will you know the reason? Or anybody in your team? By the way, this is an OBSERVATION, not a COMPLAINT! Yet,” Kher wrote on X.

As a response, one of the users asked Grok about the issue with the sudden drop in the follower count. The AI assistant responded by stating that the X is removing fake, bot, and dormant accounts to enhance the authenticity of the platform. “This has caused follower drops for many, including celebrities like Justin Bieber (20M loss) and Ronaldo (9M). Anupam Kher’s 900k drop likely stems from this cleanup, not personal issues,” it said on X.

The recent list

As per the recent reports and statistics, many international celebrities have lost their follower count in a short span of time, ranging from thousands to millions. Taylor Swift, the billionaire singer, had her follower count fall by around 6 million. Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian lost 6.4 million followers. Moreover, Katy Perry lost 3–5 million followers from her list, as per a News18 report. Go to Source
