Govinda finally addresses speculation about his marriage to Sunita

Govinda finally addresses speculation about his marriage to Sunita Ahuja, alleges family members are being USED in a 'big conspiracy'

Govinda breaks silence on marriage split rumours with Sunita Ahuja, alleging a “big conspiracy” manipulates family. He calls silence “weakness,” prays for no misunderstandings, and notes career struggles since 1987 marriage. Kids Tina (2015 debut) and Yashvardhan prep for films.

Amid ongoing buzz about Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja, the actor has finally broken his silence. Rumors of a marriage split have been doing the rounds for months. People kept guessing about their future together. Now, Govinda has opened up with his version of events.

Govinda breaks silence

In an interview with ANI, Govinda explained that he decided to speak out now because remaining silent made him seem “weak” and fueled the “problematic” perception others had of him. He discussed behind-the-scenes developments, pointing to a “big conspiracy” and suggesting that even his close ones are being “used” without their knowledge. “…what I’ve been observing lately is that sometimes when we don’t speak, we either appear weak or it seems like we are simply the problem… So, today, I’m responding. I was told that the people in my family might be unknowingly involved, and they won’t realise that they are being used in the initial stages of a big conspiracy…”

Govinda on work struggles

“First, the family gets affected, and then it extends to society. I’ve been disconnected from work for so many years; there’s no market for my films, and please don’t mistake this as me complaining or crying. I’ve rejected many films myself, so I don’t cry about it,” he added.

Govinda on Sunita’s role

He continued by saying Sunita frequently frets over his project rejections, yet she might not realize she’s being drawn into the “conspiracy” herself. “…But she could never imagine that she’s been unwittingly positioned in a major conspiracy, thrust forward like the opening batsman.” He added that extreme popularity invites attempts to “destroy” one’s social standing, noting, “…to ruin someone’s reputation in society and impose something on them, like how, in the beginning, a very dangerous man had accused me, and that man got exposed too later. When your popularity in the film industry goes beyond a certain point, many people come forward to destroy you.”

Govinda’s family plea

The actor opened up emotionally about his family and kids. He shared that he’s praying to God for no “misunderstandings” to avoid feeling “suffocated.” He stated, “I pray to God that He removes me from this problem, and I also pray for the welfare of my children… I pray that there is no misunderstanding and that I don’t get suffocated… I make a humble request, especially to my own family.”

Govinda’s family background

Married since 1987, Govinda and Sunita proudly raise their children Tina and Yashvardhan. Tina entered Bollywood in 2015 with the film ‘Second Hand Husband’, while Yashvardhan gears up for his acting debut shortly. Go to Source
