International celebrities are falling head over heels for the captivating rhythms of Bollywood! From the electrifying moves of Ricky Martin on a Punjabi anthem to Karen Gillan busting out the dance to ‘Sheila Ki Jawani,’ our favorite stars are reveling in the magic of Indian grooves.

Bollywood beats are infectious, and global icons know it too! On Sunday, March 8, Latin pop icon Ricky Martin was seen dancing to the hit Punjabi track ‘Oh Ho Ho Ho’ as India won the ICC T20 World Cup trophy. The singer was seen jumping and vibing to the song while fans cheered around him. The clip has gone viral since then and has renewed attention to the moments when international icons have shown their love for Bollywood tunes, with dance covers of the vibrant choreographies. Sometimes it’s a fun social media post and sometimes a well-choreographed performance. From actors like Karen Gillan, to pop singer Nick Jonas, here are some Global icons dances on Bollywood tunes.

Karen Gillan

A decade has passed since its release, but Katrina Kaif’s ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ remains as iconic and addictive as ever. Even ‘Jumanji’ star Karen Gillan couldn’t resist herself. She posted a video on her TikTok account showing her grooving enthusiastically to the famous Bollywood hit. In the short clip, Gillan appears to be inside a vanity van, dressed in the costume of her character from the ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ franchise. As the music begins to play, the actor stands up and starts dancing energetically. She even mouths some of the lyrics while enjoying the upbeat rhythm.

KATSEYE

Back in December, girl group KATSEYE thrilled fans with a fun Bollywood-inspired show that went viral on social media. In the video Lara Raj, Sophia Laforteza, Yoonchae Jeung, and Megan Skiendiel were seen dancing with infectious energy to ‘Bole Chudiyan’ from Karan Johar’s 2000 blockbuster Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, originally sung by Alka Yagnik. Their official Instagram caption summed it up perfectly: “A Bollywood moment.” Watch here.

Nick Jonas

Nick Jonas continues to prove he owns the title of national jiju! He has danced on Bollywood tunes more times than we can count. And each of them is memorable, like in December 2025, ahead of a Jonas Brothers concert, the singer was seen grooving to Priyanka Chopra’s popular Hindi track ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi,’ turning a backstage moment into a viral delight. The video, shared by Nick on social media, shows him dancing along with brothers Kevin and Joe Jonas as the Bollywood number plays. Nick and Kevin matched the song’s energy. Captioning the video, Nick wrote, “Another show means another night educating the guys on some of my favourite Hindi hype songs #mujhseshadikarogi.” The post was also liked by Priyanka Chopra, who later shared it on her Instagram Stories. Norwegian dance troupe Quick Style Crew took the internet by storm in 2022. The group’s performance at a wedding catapulted them into international fame as they made the whole world dance to their steps to songs like ‘Kala Chashma’, ‘Chura Ke Dil Mera’ and ‘Tumse Milke Dil Ka’.The popular group has choreographed for global K-pop boy band BTS and has collaborated with R&B singer Usher, and Veteran Indian actor Anil Kapoor.
