Fans were curious when Zayn Malik didn’t appear in photos from his daughter Khai’s 5th birthday, shared by Gigi Hadid on Instagram. Now, Gigi has set the record straight, confirming that Khai celebrated her special day with both her parents.

“She was with us both on her birthday,” Gigi Hadid replied in the comments section of her September 22 post, making it clear that Zayn Malik did indeed celebrate with their daughter.

Inside Khai’s colorful birthday bash

The 30-year-old model shared a series of candid photos from the party, featuring rainbow heart cakes, Lilo & Stitch-themed coloring stations, and pink and purple balloons.The highlight of Gigi Hadid’s post was a tender moment with Khai, whose face is kept private online. Her long brown hair was tied with colorful flowers, matching the bright Disney-themed party. Gigi wrote. “Happy 5th Birthday to the light of my life! Zayn Malik remains involved

Although Zayn Malik didn’t appear in the Instagram photos, he remains actively involved in Khai’s life. In July, he shared a glimpse of their time together at a BlackPink concert, posting on Instagram Stories, “Me & Khai loved it.”Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik, who broke up in 2021 after a six-year on-and-off relationship, continue to co-parent their daughter amicably. Talking to Vogue earlier this year, “Zayn and I do our custody schedules months in advance. That doesn’t mean that it doesn’t change here and there, but we help each other out and have each other’s backs.” She added that their approach is rooted in “love, and a feeling of camaraderie.”
