Farhan-Hrithik reunite; reignite ‘ZNMD 2’ buzz

Hrithik Roshan and director Farhan Akhtar reunited over dinner, giving way to buzz that another film project may just be on the cards.

The Bollywood BFFs were spotted with their partners. Farhan was seen with Shibani, while Hrthikr was accompanied by girlfriend Saba for the double date at a popular Asian restaurant in the city.

‘ZNMD 2’ on the cards

Their reunion comes amidst chatter online about a possible ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ (ZNMD) sequel. Farhan, dressed in his casual best attire, was seen joining Hrithik as they posed for photos outside the restaurant. After the photos were shared online, social media platforms lit up with speculation about a film being on the cards. “ZNMD 2 loading?” one fan wrote.The two ignited speculation that they were working on a sequel to the film when they shared a video back in January, with co-star Abhay Deol. In the clip, Abhay was seen staring at The Three Musketeers book which Hrithik later saw and said, “Unbelievable!” Farhan then added, “Outstanding.” Tagging his sister and filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, Farhan captioned the post, “@zoieakhtar do you see the signs?”Since then, there has been chatter about the trio possibly coming together for the sequel.

Farhan to begin work on ‘Don 3’

Just last month, Farhan made headlines when he revealed that fans may have to wait a while for his buddy film with Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. He also teased that the project may just go forward with an all-new cast. Meanwhile, the director is reportedly gearing up to take his next film ‘Don 3’ on floors. The movie starring Ranveer Singh in the lead, is rumoured to be eyeing an early 2026 production date. As far as ‘ZNMD’ is concerned, the film directed by Zoya Akhtar, released in 2011 The road-trip drama has maintained a cult following over the years, with repeated demands from fans for a sequel. While there has been no official confirmation about a second instalment this outing has fuelled hopes that a reunion could be on the horizon.
