Farah slams paps over Dharmendra, Zarine’s coverage

Farah Khan Ali slams insensitive paparazzi coverage of Dharmendra’s health, her mother Zarine Khan's cremation: ‘When it’s your turn, others like you will be hurting you like you hurt us'

Renowned jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali has called out the paparazzi for its insensitive handling of veteran actor Dharmendra’s hospitalisation. Her statement comes just days after the demise of her mother, Zarine Khan, wife of Bollywood veteran Sanjay Khan, on November 7.Following Zarine Khan’s passing, reports of Dharmendra’s ill health and alleged ventilator support left fans concerned. However, Farah took to Instagram to condemn the paparazzi for invading privacy and sensationalising personal tragedies. In a heartfelt note, she wrote, “My mother passed away 6 days ago and there were some here who were more interested in why she chose to be cremated instead of giving condolences. Dharm Uncle is in hospital and a video of his personal family goes viral.”Expressing her disappointment at the growing insensitivity, Farah continued, “Are we as a nation so insensitive to people? Don’t public figures also have families that have feelings? What happened to humanity? Why does every imbecile out here have an opinion on how others should lead their lives? Tragedy strikes all. When it’s your turn, and trust me it will be, there will be others like you hurting you like you hurt us. ”Zarine Khan, who passed away at the age of 81, is survived by her husband Sanjay Khan, daughters Sussanne, Farah, Simone Arora, and son Zayed.
