Emraan reveals some actors show up late for shoots in Bollywood

'Kuch log toh aate bhi nahi hain...': Emraan Hashmi reveals some actors show up late for shoots in Bollywood

Emraan Hashmi expressed his dwindling patience for unprofessionalism in Bollywood, particularly actors arriving late on set. He lauded Yami Gautam as a punctual co-star, contrasting her with those who don’t show up at all. Hashmi also reflected on his viral scene in Aryan Khan’s film, noting its unexpected widespread impact and how it has reshaped public perception of him.

Emraan Hashmi recently spoke about how some actors in Bollywood don’t show up on time for shoots. He said that at this point in his career, he has very little patience for such unprofessional behavior.

Calls Yami Gautam a punctual co-star

In conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, Emraan talked about his co-star yami Gautam and said, “She is one of those few actresses who come on time like me, so there was no problem there.” When asked if actors still tend to show up late to shoots, Emraan quipped, “Kuch log toh aate bhi nahi hain (some people don’t even turn up). They just call the shoot off.”Elaborating further, he added, “I want to work with people with whom I am enjoying the process. Where you don’t have to think about it, it dissipates your energy. You are working according to someone else’s clock,” he said.

Reacting to his viral scene in Aryan Khan’s film

Recently addressing the media, the actor spoke about his viral scene with Raghav Juyal in Aryan Khan’s Ba***ds of Bollywood. He said, “We knew that it (dialogue from Ba***ds of Bollywood) would go viral but never imagined that it would go viral in such a way. Lesson to be learned.””I think before this, fans used to either call me by name or they had a different image of mine which starts with S. Won’t say it here. Now, people remember that dialogue when they talk about me. So I have no complaints. I am happy,” said Emraan Hashmi.
