'Drishyam 3' box office collections day 4: Mohanlal starrer sees modest Sunday growth; Worldwide total reaches Rs 141.34 cr

Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph’s much-awaited mystery thriller ‘Drishyam 3’ continued its impressive theatrical run on Day 4. The film registered a slight increase in collections compared to the previous day.According to Sacnilk the film earned Rs 13.95 crore net in India on its first Sunday, marking a 1.8 percent growth from Day 3’s Rs 13.70 crore.

‘Drishyam 3’ India collections cross Rs 63 crore gross

‘Drishyam 3’s total India net collection has reached Rs 54.55 crore. The film’s India gross collection now stands at Rs 63.34 crore.The Malayalam version remained the biggest contributor, collecting Rs 11.75 crore on Sunday from 3,186 shows with an overall occupancy of 69.35 percent. The Telugu version added Rs 1.20 crore, while the Tamil version contributed Rs 65 lakhs. The Kannada version collected Rs 35 lakhs.The film was screened across 5,270 shows on Day 4.

Kerala leads state-wise performance

Kerala continued to be the strongest market for the Mohanlal starrer. The state generated Rs 9.70 crore gross on Day 4 alone. Karnataka followed with Rs 2.40 crore, while Andhra Pradesh and Telangana together contributed Rs 1.40 crore.Tamil Nadu also delivered Rs 1.40 crore gross collections. The rest of India added another Rs 1.27 crore to the tally.The Malayalam version recorded 77.08 percent occupancy during afternoon shows and an impressive 78.83 percent during evening shows.The Tamil version posted an overall occupancy of 50.22 percent, while the Kannada version recorded 25.46 percent. The Telugu version registered 23.73 percent occupancy on Sunday.

Overseas market remains a major strength

The film earned Rs 13 crore overseas on Day 4, taking its total overseas gross collection to Rs 78 crore.Strong support from audiences in the Gulf region, North America, Europe and other international territories has helped the film maintain a remarkable pace outside India.’Drishyam 3′ has now amassed a worldwide gross collection of Rs 141.34 crore within four days of release.Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film brings back Mohanlal as Georgekutty alongside Meena, Ansiba Hassan and Esther Anil.
