According to reports, an X (previously Twitter) account with over 100k followers posted that Quentin Tarantino, his wife, and children were killed after a missile from Iran hit Israel. The post also featured pictures of the filmmaker seeking refuge in a bomb shelter in Israel. According to the post, the shelter was located in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. The post tagged Deadline as the source of information.However, the publication has since clarified that the post was false and they carried no such news. As per the TMZ report, the post was untrue. A source close to the filmmaker told the publication, “Quentin is alive and well, and his family is all good too.”Later, the pictures were labelled as fake and AI-generated.
