Did Bandla Ganesh take a dig at Vijay Deverakonda? Netizens react to his speech on actors ‘showing off’

Bandla Ganesh, prominent Telugu film producer, known for his expressive and dramatic speeches at public events. Over the years, he has become a popular figure, not only for his work but also for his outspoken nature. Now, his comments at Kiran Abbavaram’s ‘K Ramp’ event have taken the internet by storm. Many believe Bandla’s fiery words about actors’ egos were aimed at Vijay Deverakonda.

Bandla Ganesh talks about fame and humility

At the event, Bandla called Kiran on stage and spoke about how fame can make some actors lose their humility. Without taking names, he said, “One film becomes a hit and they start showing off by wearing loose pants, new shoes, a cap, glasses at midnight, and act like superstars. But I look at Kiran, and he stays humble and focused; he reminds me of Chiranjeevi in his early days.”The producer continued with another sharp statement, saying, “No one who has believed in cinema with honesty has been let down by it. One film becomes a hit, and they talk like they know everything.” These remarks were enough to get social media buzzing with guesses.

Internet assumes Vijay Deverakonda was the target

Clips of Bandla’s speech went viral soon after the event, with many netizens convinced that his comments were aimed at Vijay Deverakonda. The mention of “loose pants, new shoes and glasses at midnight” reminded fans of Vijay’s cool and stylish personality. Supporters of the ‘Arjun Reddy’ star immediately came to his defence, criticising Bandla for taking what they believed was a personal swipe.

Fans defend Vijay Deverakonda on social media

One fan commented, “Out of jealousy, he’s mocking Vijay & running behind Teja Sajja, Kiran Abbavaram! Visiting his house & flattering him just to get dates! If that doesn’t work, he’ll probably repeat the same behavior with the next actor.”Another fan said, “Instead of targeting someone like Vijay known for his humility & calm nature it would’ve been better if Bandla showed the same energy when addressing the industry’s real issues.”A third one added, “You praised him when he is in hits, but now mock him because he’s in flops. it’s wrong sir, and please use common sense when you speak.”

Bandla Ganesh’s earlier remark adds fuel to fire

This isn’t the first time Bandla’s words have been linked to Vijay Deverakonda. At an earlier event for ‘Little Hearts’, he advised actor Mouli not to trust anyone, “even if Vijay sends him RWDY shirts and Mahesh Babu tweets for him.” He also told Mouli not to see himself as a star but as a good actor like Chandra Mohan.Interestingly, Vijay seemed to indirectly respond at a later event, offering calm advice instead of confrontation. “Your biggest success in life is making your parents happy. You don’t need to be like anybody else. Your parents named you Mouli; let Mouli shine. Don’t ever think you need to be like anyone else,” he said.

Vijay Deverakonda on the work front

Vijay Deverakonda was last seen in Gowtam Tinnanuri’s ‘Kingdom’, which did not perform as expected at the box office. The actor will next appear in Rahul Sankrithyan’s upcoming period film, raising hopes among fans for a strong comeback. Go to Source
