'The Ba***ds of Bollywood': Did Aryan Khan take a dig at his jail time in trailer? Fans say 'Bro has Cooked VERY HARD'

Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, is all set to entertain the audiences with his directorial debut ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’. The first trailer of the upcoming web series was unveiled on Wednesday, with dad Shah Rukh Khan and mom Gauri Khan by his side on the big stage.

Aryan Khan drops new trailer

Just as promised, the trailer featured several action-packed moments, and some humorous exaggerated scenes featuring Lakshya, Karan Johar, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh and many others. However, it was one scene in particular which has the internet buzzing.

Fans react to cryptic jail scene

Fans took to social media to point out a sequence that features Lakshya’s character Aasmaan Singh behind bars. A police officer then goes on to tell him, “Tension nahi lene ka, andar ja ke log aur bhi famous ho jaate hai (Don’t stress, people become more famous after going to jail).” Interestingly, after the scene plays out, Aryan is credited as the writer and director of the series. The dialogue and scene have many wondering if it is a cryptic dig at the star-kid’s time in jail back in 2021. Sharing the clip, a fan lauded the young director saying, “Andar (Jail) jaake log aur bhi famous hojate hai And the Title Card “Written and Directed by Aryan Khan” Bro has Cooked VERY HARD.” Another said, “people become more famous after being locked up.. written and directed by ARYAN KHAN !! WHOS IDEA WAS THIS WOWW” Social media users praised Aryan for his self-deprecating humour. “Andar jake log or bhi famous ho jate hai best line h Aryan bhai you are killing the haters,” one fan commented. Another added, “We know what Aryan did in the last scene of the trailer.” Aryan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on October 2, 2021, during a cruise ship raid off Mumbai. Although no drugs were found on him, he spent nearly a month in Arthur Road Jail before being granted bail. In May 2022, a Special Investigation Team gave him a clean chit, citing ‘insufficient evidence’.’The Ba***ds of Bollywood’ will begin streaming from September 18, 2025.
