'Dhurandhar' Trailer: Arjun Rampal and Akshaye Khanna's villainy steals the thunder; fans call Ranveer Singh starrer UNHINGED

Director Aditya Dhar on Tuesday, unveiled an epic 4-minute trailer that introduced fans to the film’s lead stars and their characters. Long after the trailer dropped online, fans have been left buzzing about the menacing villains, played by Arjun Rampal and Akshaye Khanna.While Singh leads the film’s high-octane narrative, it is Khanna and Rampal who have emerged as the immediate breakout favourites for their horrifying and sinister portrayals of their respective characters. Viewers flooded social media with reactions praising the actors’ intense screen presence, chilling restraint, and commanding energy.

Rampal, who has appeared less frequently on screen in recent years, was also showered with glowing praise. “Everyone’s praising Khanna, but Rampal stole my attention,” one fan said, adding they had “never imagined someone would utilise him like this.

Ranveer Singh praises Arjun Rampal

Actor Ranveer Singh also lavished praise on Rampal for his dedication to his work, and his craft. At the trailer launch, he heaped praise on his co-star, who essays a bloodthirsty monster, whose aim is to destroy India. Ranveer said, “Arjun sir is known to be the most good-looking man on earth. But, people are now realising his depth and range as an actor. This look and presentation as an actor, I don’t know how Aditya managed to achieve this. On set the female crew members used to be all head over heels for Arjun sir despite his fierce look in the film”. “I used to be like, ‘How can you find someone hot in such a role?’. Your work is exceptional in the film. Thank you for uplifting me on the sets sir, with your kind words. There were times when he tripped on set but he used to quickly get up, dust himself, and get back to work again.
