‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ continued its strong run at the box office as the makers hosted a special screening for the cast and crew on Thursday, soon after the film opened to a strong audience response. A new video shared by actor Rakesh Bedi offers a closer look at the atmosphere after the screening, capturing a mix of jokes, gratitude, and emotion. The clip features Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Yami Gautam and others in a candid moment that quickly drew attention, especially after Ranveer’s playful tease aimed at director Aditya Dhar and Yami’s emotional response during the post-screening interaction.

As reported by Hindustan Times, Rakesh Bedi shared a video on Instagram from the special screening of ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’. The event was attended by Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Yami Gautam, Krystle D’Souza, Soumya Tandon, Ayesha Khan, Jubin Nautiyal, and others. The video captured a moment of light before the emotional speeches began. Rakesh was heard saying, “Chalo bhai, picture toh dekh li, ab bhookh lagi hai, kuch khilao yaar (Come on, we have watched the film, now I am hungry, get us something to eat).” Arjun Rampal quickly responded with a joke of his own, saying, “Aap toh sabko khaa gaye sir, aur kitna khaaoge? The mood then shifted as director Aditya Dhar delivered a heartfelt speech and thanked those who stood by the film. He said, “Thanks to those who believed in me, starting from Jyoti Deshpande, and of course, my HODs, my cast members, actors, and everyone who has given their heart and soul to the film. I am overwhelmed with all the responses coming in and even the memes. But I genuinely want to thank everyone for being here, supporting us, and being part of this journey. This wouldn’t have been possible without you. Thank you so much.”Jyoti Deshpande also praised the director, saying, “He never panics and always gets his way. He’s very, very special.” As Aditya spoke, Yami Gautam turned emotional. When Jyoti and Aditya called for Ranveer Singh, he teased the director by saying, “Yeh ‘gets his way’ wali baat yahan par aakar khatam ho jaati hai (This ‘gets his way’ thing ends when it comes to this person here),” while pointing toward Yami, who laughed through tears. The spy action thriller is the sequel to the 2025 hit ‘Dhurandhar’. Released on March 19, the film explores the backstory of Ranveer Singh’s Hamza, also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, and follows his fight against a terror network in Pakistan while reshaping the power structure in Lyari. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Rakesh Bedi, and has earned over Rs 190 crore domestically. Go to Source
