‘Dhurandhar’ production designer found guilty by POSH committee

TRIGGER WARNING: This article includes references to sexual abuse. In a significant development in the sexual harassment case involving ‘Dhurandhar’ production designer Saini S Johray, B62 Studios, the production house behind the Ranveer Singh-led two-part film found him guilty following a six-month internal investigation. The findings by the studio’s Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Committee mark a major step in a case that has been unfolding behind the scenes since late 2025, and appear to have already visibly impacted Johray’s association with the project.

‘Dhurandhar’ production designer found guilty on two counts after six-month POSH investigation

According to the Mid-day report, the complaint against Saini S Johray was first made to B62 Studios, owned by filmmaker Aditya Dhar and producer Lokesh Dhar, in October 2025. The studio, which has a stated no-tolerance policy towards harassment, immediately activated its POSH Committee upon receiving the complaint. The report stated, “The POSH committee did a thorough investigation, given the sensitivity of the matter and the production house’s no-tolerance policy towards harassment.” The investigation, which ran for approximately six months, concluded around late March to April 2026 with a decisive finding against the accused. The report added, “It was a six-month investigation that ended around late March-April. He was found guilty on two counts — sexual molestation and tampering of evidence. The committee communicated the findings to the complainant.”

Saini S Johray’s credits removed from the film

The fallout from the POSH committee’s findings appears to have had a direct professional consequence for Johray. While his credit featured in the original OTT version of ‘Dhurandhar’ (2025) that premiered on January 30, 2026, it has gone missing from the ‘Raw and Undekha’ version of the film that dropped on the same streamer on May 22, a detail not unnoticed by industry observers tracking the case.

More ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Dhurandhar 2’ OTT release

The makers have dropped the ‘Raw and Undekha’ version of the first installment ‘Dhurandhar’, on Netflix as well as JioHotstar. The second part, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, is set to streaming on the latter from June 5, in India.DISCLAIMER: If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, assault, or abuse, please seek immediate help.
