The buzz around ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ is palpable, with ticket pricing varying widely—starting at just Rs 59 in Chennai to a whopping Rs 2900 for luxury seating in Mumbai. With over 2.75 lakh tickets already snapped up, the film has raked in Rs 13.75 crore through advance sales, setting the stage to potentially surpass ‘OG’s’ preview box office slam. The buzz around ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has reached new highs post the trailer launch, which added another level of excitement. The makers are aiming for a massive opening at the box office on March 19, and hence, the tickets are priced in a way that will pull everyone into the theaters.

‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ ticket pricing

According to a report on Variety India, there is a huge gap between the highest and lowest priced tickets. For the preview show, the costliest ticket for ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is Rs 2,900. For the price, a moviegoer will get a recliner prime seat at the INOX Megaplex in Mumbai. On the other hand, the cost of tickets in South India is quite low. As per the report, the cheapest ticket is Rs 59 at Chennai’s AGS Cinemas. At this price a cine lover in Tamil Nadu would get access to a seat in the Pearl category at the mentioned cinema hall.

‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ sells over 2.75 lakh tickets

According to the Sacnilk report, the movie has sold over 2,37,323 tickets in India already for the premiere shows. With that, the gross domestic earnings of advance booking are Rs 13.75 crore. Meanwhile, the number rises to Rs 19.46 crore when blocked seats are included.The movie still has a week to rake in the big bucks through advance bookings, with options for a paid preview show on March 18. The espionage thriller reportedly has the potential to break the box office record for the highest earning paid previews, set by Pawan Kalyan’s ‘OG’ with a total of Rs 25 crore.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the movie stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role. It also features Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun.
