Preetisheel Singh decodes Danish Iqbal’s the transformation as Dawood Ibrahim

Preetisheel took to her Instagram handle and shared a detailed post explaining the creative process behind designing the two contrasting looks of the same character. Through the post, she gave audiences a glimpse into the extensive effort, research and prosthetic work that went into achieving the transformation. She wrote, “Bade Sahab! For Dawood Ibrahim in Dhurandhar, played by Danish Iqbal, we had to build two sharply contrasting versions of the same man. In his prime, he is a stylish, commanding, and powerful presence. In contrast, we see a fragile, worn-down version of this once formidable figure, who was slowly poisoned. To achieve this, we leaned into a hyper-real transformation—extensive silicone prosthetic work, a sparse wig, layered skin darkening and texturing, wrinkles, eye bags, the removal of eyebrows, and detailed texturing and colouring work across the scalp and body.Danish Iqbal brings both these versions together with remarkable control, making the transition feel seamless and lived-in.
