Dhurandar’s Top 3 viral trends that took over the internet

From Rehman Dakait’s swagger to “Day 1 as a spy”: ‘Dhurandar’s’ top 3 viral trends that took over the internet

When it comes to ‘Dhurandhar’s’ success, the boundaries expand beyond box office. The film’s spell-bounding magic is all over social media as well. From Instagram to X, the film sparked major viral trends and fans can’t get enough of them. From Akshaye Khanna’s moves to Ranveer Singh’s ‘day 1 as a spy’, memes, reaction videos have flooded the internet. Here’s a look at the Top 3 viral trends of ‘Dhurandhar’. Scroll down and enjoy!

Akshaye Khanna a.k.a. Rehman Dakait’s moves on FA9LA

Well, Akshaye Khana’s viral dance has to be the number one viral trend from ‘Dhurandhar. Khanna’s brief but electrifying entry clip in Dhurandhar has become one of the film’s most shared moments on social media. With unshakable “swagger” Khanna grover on the pulsating Arabic track FA9LA. With the videos all over social media, one viral post garnered special attention where a father is seen dancing to this track after hearing the news of the birth of his baby girl. Actor Yami Gautam and ‘Dhurandhar’ director Aditya Dhar’s wife also shared the viral clip on her X account.

The “Day 1 as a spy” meme

The next trend that took over social media was “Day 1 as a spy in Pakistan”. Inspired by Ranveer Singh aka Hamza Ali Mazari, who plays an undercover agent infiltrating Karachi’s criminal and political underworld, netizens have been making hilarious reels of their first day in Pakistan as a spy. In one video, an ‘undercover agent’ gives a gangster his number. When the gangster gives him a missed call, the phone rings and the ringtone is Hanuman Chalisa, which gives his identity away. With a variety of such memes going around netizens simply cannot stop or control their laugh!

On-screen Rehman Dakait as a “pookie wifepaglu”

Akshaye Khanna’s part as Rehman Dakait in ‘Dhurandhar’ is a ruthless villain drenched in blood and vengeance. But hidden beneath the gunshots and grief is a man with a quiet love story that has the internet “simping”. Netizens are head-over-heals for the character’s softness towards his wife; for example kissing his wife’s forehead after getting a tight slap from her or say walking hand-in-hand with her publicly. The internet has named his “wifepaglu final boss”, i.e. someone who’s madly in love with his wife. Indeed, the race for ‘Dhurandhar’s’ viral trends and memes seems to be dominated by Akshaye Khanna and Ranveer Singh, however, for the film itself, praises are shared across the phenomenal cast.
