Aamir Khan celebrates his birthday on March 14 and on the eve of his birthday, the actor had intimate celebrations with family and close friends. One spotted Irfan Pathan with his wife at the actor’s house. The former cricketer shared an inside video as Aamir cut his birthday cake. He was surrounded by his children Ira Khan, Junaid Khan and Azad Rao, girlfriend Gauri Spratt. The actor fed the cake first to Azad followed by Ira and then Gauri. Irfan shared the video and wrote, “Wishing a very Happy Birthday to Aamir bhai. Also wonderful to see Ira Khan doing impactful work through Agatsu Foundation, spreading awareness and support for mental health & much more” Meanwhile, as the actor turns 61, Aamir dropped updated regarding his upcoming work and revealed how he has spent the last several months focusing on choosing his next projects. In a video message that has been widely shared on social media, the star expressed gratitude to fans for their continued support and spoke about the process of carefully selecting scripts for his future films. Addressing his followers, Aamir said, “All my love to the Aamir Universe fans, and thank you so much for all the love that you have given me all this time. It really means a lot to me.”Aamir explained that the past six months have largely been devoted to listening to story ideas and evaluating scripts before committing to new roles. “I have been working hard at selecting scripts now for the coming films. The last six months, I’ve only been listening to scripts. So I’ve finally decided on the next couple of films that I’m going to be doing,” he said.Apart from his acting plans, Aamir also spoke about changes within his production banner, Aamir Khan Productions. He revealed that producer and executive Aparna Purohit will now take charge of the company’s daily operations while he shifts more focus toward acting. “Here onwards, Aamir Khan Productions… I used to spend a lot of time in my production house as well. That is going to be handled by Aparna Purohit. I’m focusing on acting also. Hopefully you’ll see a lot more work from me as an actor,” he said.Aamir also confirmed that two films backed by his production house are set to hit theatres this year. The first, Ek Din, is scheduled to release on May 1. This will be followed by Lahore 1947, which is expected to arrive in cinemas on August 13.
