Deepika Padukone made quite the fashion statement when she stepped up for an event on Friday, in a striking power suit. The mother of one balanced strength and femininity with grace in her pant-suit that saw her rocking a floral jacket with a sleek black camisole, tailored wide-leg trousers and topped the look off with statement floral earrings and soft glam makeup. She wore her hair tied back in a low ponytail.

Besides making a fashion statement, the actress, who recently became the voice of Meta AI, shared a deeply personal reflection on her journey in the industry. “Interesting, isn’t it?” she said to CNBC-TV 18. “I’m someone whose voice was mocked when I came into the industry, and now I’m the voice of Meta AI. Strange… and my accent too. But I continued to own it. And I think that’s how and why it happened.”

The actor, also weighed in on AI’s influence in the film industry. “I’m so excited about the possibilities,” she said. Sharing the reason for her excitement, she said, “The only thing I think it cannot replace is human emotion. I think that’s the only place AI will not be allowed or not match up.”She elaborated “Can AI do a similar job? Yes, maybe. Barring human emotion and how an actor would emote. Because you can’t infuse soul into AI. I’m all for something that is new and forward and all that. Just when it comes to the human soul and emotion, I have a feeling that’s irreplaceable. But outside of that, I’m very excited about what the possibilities are.”

On the work front, Deepika will be seen in the upcoming action movie ‘King’. The actress will reunite with Shah Rukh Khan for another action packed film after working together on 2023’s biggest hits ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’.She is also shooting for an upcoming film with director Atlee, tentatively titled AA22 x A6. The large-scale Pan-India project, described as a sci-fi action entertainer, will see her teaming up with actor Allu Arjun.
