Deepika Padukone has set social media into a frenzy after new pictures from the sets of her next film ‘King’ surfaced online. The mommy-to-be, stepped out on the film sets in Cape Town, South Africa, hand-in-hand with her leading man, Shah Rukh Khan.

Dressed in matching earthy-tone outfits, the actress stunned onlookers as she flaunted her “pregnancy glow” during an outdoor shoot. In the viral pics from the sets, the actress was all smiles as SRK led the way on the sets. While DP rocked a flowing dress that seemed to conceal her baby bump, Shah Rukh was seen in a rugged new avatar, sporting a striped button-down shirt with blue trousers and statement accessories.

Shah Rukh Khan ditches salt and pepper look

A look at the pics from the sets also seem to indicate that Shah Rukh has ditched the salt and pepper look and gone back to sporting a darker hairdo. The actor made waves when he first stepped on the film sets rocking grey hair. The development comes shortly after Padukone and her husband Ranveer Singh announced that they are expecting their second child. Despite her pregnancy, the actress continued to honour her professional commitments, returning to film sets soon after the announcement. The actress was spotted jetting out of Mumbai early this week, with hubby Ranveer Singh by her side. About ‘King’ South Africa scheduleIndustry reports indicate that Padukone has been actively filming for ‘King’, an ambitious action thriller directed by Siddharth Anand, which also stars Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji and many others.The team is currently in South Africa for an ambitious 18-day climax shoot. As per reports, the team will shoot for a week in Cape Town before heading back to Mumbai for a 10-day schedule. As per reports, the cast will also be shooting some stylised action sequences.’King’ release date’King’, that is slated for a Christmas 2026 release, has already generated significant buzz for its scale and star power. The film which marks Shah Rukh’s first on-screen collab with daughter Suhana Khan, will reportedly clash with the Hollywood blockbusters ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Dune: Part Three’ which are both lined up to hit the big screens a week prior to ‘King’.
