Decoding Samantha’s bridal look – DETAILS inside

Decoding Samantha Ruth Prabhu's minimalistic yet stunning bridal look, a red banarasi saree with zardosi work woven by a single master artisan - Details inside

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu tied the knot with director Raj Nidimoru known for directing web-shows like ‘Farzi’, ‘The Family Man’, ‘Citadel India’ along with his partner DK (Krishna Dasarakothapalli). The actress left everyone surprised as she tied the knot in a sacred Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha ceremony at the abode of Linga Bhairavi Devi within Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore on Monday morning. She dropped first photos and announced the wedding. The actress opted for a red banarasi saree which had flower motifs made with intricate gold, beige zardozi work. The saree had a heavy border. Her gold jewellery further complimented her overall look. Samantha’s bridal saree was designed by Arpita Mehta. Both the bride and groom were styled by Pallavi Singh and Selvi. She complimented her look with a gold jewellery and gajra tied into a bun, making this look minimalistic, yet eternally classy. Sharing details about the saree, Arpita Mehta’s official page wrote on Instagram, “Woven over 2–3 weeks by a single master artisan, the sari features powder-zari buttis and a Nishi-woven border in intricate cutwork. Finished with beige-gold zardozi — Saadi taar, cutdana, kasab, and tiny mirrors — it becomes an expression of quiet beauty, intention, and timeless artistry.” Meanwhile, stylist Pallavi Singh also dropped details about her customised blouse. She wrote, “For the artwork on the blouse, we wanted something deeply meaningful. I’ve always been a fan of @bosejayati — the way she creates art that’s so rooted, so close to our culture and our beliefs. We barely had a few hours to make it happen, and she came back with this powerful vision: a Tree of Life, adorned with the third eye of the Devi. Protective, symbolic, and perfect in every way.” Pallavi also shared details about Raj’s outfit designed by Tarun Tahiliani. She shared, “And then there’s Raj — the simplest, most clear-hearted person I’ve ever met. With him, everything is honest, grounded, and full of warmth. So his look had to feel the same: simple, understated, and quietly elegant. @taruntahiliani was our obvious choice, and his team went above and beyond to create something new and meaningful for us. I chose gold for Raj because he is gold — pure gold. “Thangam,” as they say in Tamil.” Go to Source
