About ‘De De Pyaar De 2’

‘De De Pyaar De 2’ is directed by Anshul Sharma and written by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain. Ajay Devgn returns as Ashish, Rakul Preet Singh stars as Ayesha, and R Madhavan joins the cast as Rajji. The film also features Gautami Kapoor, Jaaved Jaaferi, Meezaan Jafri, Ishita Dutta, and Janki Bodiwala in important roles. The sequel continues from the first film but brings in a new twist. Ashish, a 52-year-old London-based NRI investor, is preparing to meet the family of his 28-year-old lover, Ayesha. Their age gap leads to funny, awkward, and entertaining moments as both families try to understand their relationship. The film keeps the blend of romance and comedy, while the interactions between Ashish and Rajji bring fresh humour. Their banter, mixed with the age difference storyline, keeps the spirit of the original ‘De De Pyaar De’ alive.

R Madhavan on working with Ajay Devgn

R Madhavan reflected on his time working with Ajay Devgn and shared that the experience was inspiring and creatively satisfying. He said he felt valued throughout the shoot. According to Bollywood Hungama, Madhavan stated, “On set, like Ajay sir, I don’t compete. The whole idea is to do the best we can for the sake of the character and the film. I’ve learnt from Ajay sir that when the story works, the film works, everything works for everybody. But if I am only worried about what I am doing, and getting insecure about it, then it’s the wrong approach towards a film.” Go to Source
