The news of her passing sent shockwaves across the industry, as her partner at the time, Roy Hernandez, revealed the news to the world. However, as per the latest updates, new allegations have surfaced about Hernandez, which state that the actress’ family did not even know who he was.

Daveigh Chase’s former manager claims the family did not know Roy Hernandez

TMZ recently reported on a statement made by Chase’s former manager, who has claimed that her family does not know who Roy is. The claims were made following a funding page made by Hernandez. On the funding page, he had called Chase the “light of his life”, and had further written that “After a difficult childhood and a painful falling out with her family, Daveigh was bullied and struggled to find safety and happiness in downtown LA. When we met, I promised to protect her and give her the love and comfort she deserved. Together, we found moments of happiness and hope.” Following this, her former manager stated, “Neither her family nor her close friends know who this person is. I can confirm Daveigh has a SAG trust account with more than enough funds to cover all medical and related expenses.” They added that the man is only claiming to be her partner; however, no one from her life is aware of who he is, and they urged people not to donate to the page.In response to this, as per the reports, Roy stated that he would use the money to give her the proper memorial that she deserves.

In his funding page, Hernandez had provided more details about her passing, sharing that she had developed a lot of blood infections in the last few days. He added, “Her condition has become critical, and the doctors have told me she may not have much time left. All she ever wanted was a place where we could live together, feel safe, and be happy. Now, more than ever, I want to give her that sense of home and peace in her final days.”
