Daisy Shah, who made her Bollywood debut opposite Salman Khan in Jai Ho, is clear about one thing — marriage is not on her radar. At 41, Daisy says she prefers staying single and does not feel the need for a man in her life. In a recent chat with Filmygyan, the actress spoke candidly about relationships, money and why she believes love alone isn’t enough.“It’s not about money because I earn well enough for myself. I just cannot become the mother of a grown man. I have my own money, but you should also be earning at a certain level. Sweet talk feels good in the beginning, but not later,” she said. She added that the constant news of breakups around her has made her cautious. “Every day something is happening — some couple or the other is separating. It’s very scary.”

“I don’t think you need marriage to build a family”

Daisy revealed that several men in her life assumed she was ready to marry them — an assumption she never shared. She made it clear that she has a practical and independent outlook. “I don’t have any alternative thoughts about marriage. I’ve left everything to God. I don’t think you need to get married to build a family.”In a significant revelation, the actress shared, “I’ve frozen my eggs, so I can become a mother whenever I want. I can have my own child.”For Daisy, love and financial independence go hand in hand. She believes that while love is important, money is equally essential for stability.

“I’ve got everything I asked for”

Reflecting on her journey so far, Daisy says she feels fulfilled.“I’ve got whatever I wanted in life. I dreamed of owning a house and I got it. I wanted to give my family a good life — that happened too. I wanted two dogs. I had one, now I have two. So I’m happy.”The actress has previously been linked to choreographer Ganesh Acharya and reality TV personality Shiv Thakare, though she has consistently denied these rumours. While she keeps her personal life guarded, Daisy has earlier admitted — without naming anyone — that her past relationships were toxic. She once revealed that one former partner had even stopped her from working with male co-stars.
