Crowd goes crazy for Govinda, tries to get close at visarjan

Ganesh Chaturthi 2025: Crowd goes crazy for Govinda at Ganpati Visarjan, tries to get close to the actor

Govinda’s Ganesh Chaturthi appearance became a focal point as enthusiastic fans surged to meet the actor, briefly overwhelming security. This public appearance occurred amidst swirling rumors of a divorce with his wife, Sunita Ahuja, following reports citing irreconcilable differences. Sunita has addressed the rumors emotionally, expressing faith amidst life’s challenges.

Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations turned eventful for Bollywood fans as Govinda was spotted navigating a devoted crowd trying to get close to him. The veteran actor, away from films for a while, made headlines not just for the fan frenzy but also amid recent divorce rumours with his wife, Sunita Ahuja.

Loyal fanbase shows up in full force

Over the years, the Partner star has earned a loyal fanbase. Recently, a paparazzi video from the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations showed fans trying to get close to him. Even though his security team attempted to hold them back, Govinda’s admirers were determined to meet their favorite star.

Fans slip past security

In the video, Govinda is seen walking calmly with his security team as three fans slip past the gate and start following him. While the security tries to stop them, the fans persist, keeping a respectful distance. It’s unclear if Govinda interacted with them, but their efforts quickly caught social media’s attention.

Divorce rumours surface

Earlier this month, reports in Hauterfly claimed Sunita Ahuja filed for divorce from Govinda, citing adultery, cruelty, and desertion, with the court summoning Govinda on May 25, though he skipped the sessions. In a recent vlog at Mahalaxmi Temple, Sunita addressed the rumours emotionally, saying life has ups and downs but she feels protected by the goddess.
