Chris Martin is definitely Sophie Turner’s type – Report

'Chris is definitely her type': The Coldplay singer's rumored romance with Sophie Turner hints at strong chemistry

Chris Martin and Sophie Turner, who made headlines for calling it quits with their significant others earlier this year, have found their lost spark after going on a couple of dates in London. The British artists have a lot of chemistry between them, even though the romance might be relatively new.

The couple who move on together stay together

Martin and Turner have had a mutual friend circle over the years, when the ‘Game of Thrones’ actress was married to Joe Jonas for five years. While the interactions have always been friendly, Turner has always admired the ‘Yellow’ singer. “She’s even joked that she used to have a bit of a crush on him, so it’s funny and surreal that they actually connected in a romantic way in real life,” US Weekly reported. As for the renewed romantic spark, the couple has been bonding over their love of music and their shared background. “They have a lot in common, and Chris is definitely her type,” the report added.Previously, in 2020, Joe Jonas was part of a docuseries, where he hosted and travelled to various cities worldwide, experiencing them as a local with his celebrity friends. ‘Cup of Joe’ featured an episode in which he surprised Sophie Turner with a video message from the Coldplay lead singer for her birthday.

Past relationships

Chris Martin was in a long-term relationship with actress Dakota Johnson before they split up in June after eight years. While neither of them addressed their breakup in public, the aforementioned media outlet confirmed that they were engaged for a while in their on-and-off relationship. Meanwhile, Turner was blooming in love with aristocrat Peregrine Pearson. They were together for more than two years before calling quits in September 2025. Even after their conflicting personalities, the duo had put effort into making a successful relationship, but failed.
