Celebrated icon Chiranjeevi took a nostalgic trip down memory lane as he reflected on his striking entry into cinema 47 years ago with ‘Punadhirallu.’ Overflowing with a mix of exhilaration and accountability, he fondly remembered the thrill of being a fresh face in the industry. In a poignant throwback, megastar Chiranjeevi shared his heartfelt memories of debuting 47 years ago on the extraordinary set of ‘Punadhirallu.’ He captured the blend of exhilaration and monumental responsibility that flooded him as a novice actor. Megastar Chiranjeevi reminisced about his debut 47 years ago on the sets of ‘Punadhirallu’. He described the overwhelming emotions of excitement and responsibility as a newcomer. Expressing deep gratitude to the director, producer, and his devoted audience, Chiranjeevi acknowledged their pivotal role in his illustrious acting career, which began with this foundational film.

Chiranjeevi shared a warm and soft memory from 47 years ago as he talked about the very first moment he stood in front of a camera for the film ‘Punadhirallu’.The Telugu megastar said that this moment still feels fresh to him and posted old black-and-white photos from that time. One photo shows him all alone as a very young actor. The other photos show him with the cast and people from the set. He wrote, “Today marks the first day in my life that I stood in front of the camera for the film ‘Punadhirallu.’” He said this moment is still bright in his heart.

Chiranjeevi shares how he felt as a young newcomer

Chiranjeevi said he felt many strong feelings that day. He said these feelings were so big that he cannot fully explain them, “The excitement, joy, responsibility, and emotion I felt on that day are truly indescribable. Even now, it feels as though it all happened just yesterday.”Chiranjeevi said that whole experience felt soft and magical, “It was an experience as beautiful as a moonlit fairytale.”

Chiranjeevi thanks the director and producer who trusted him

Chiranjeevi shared simple and heartfelt thanks to the people who gave him the very first chance. He remembered the director and producer of ‘Punadhirallu’ with deep gratitude, “On this special occasion, I wholeheartedly express my gratitude to the director and producer who gave me that very first opportunity. Their trust and encouragement laid the foundation stones for my journey in acting.” For him this first support was the start of everything he built later. He says he still carries that gratitude every day.

Megastar shows love to his audience after 47 years

Chiranjeevi also thanked the people who watched his movies and stood by him through all these years. He shared that their love and blessings helped him move from one step to the next.Actor further wrote, “From that day to this day, I remain deeply grateful to all the audience who have supported and blessed me. ”

A short look at the film that started it all

‘Punadhirallu’ means “Foundation Stones.” It truly became the foundation for Chiranjeevi. The movie was made in 1979 and was directed by Rajkumar. It was his debut film even though another movie, ‘Pranam Khareedu’ released before it.’Punadhirallu’ won three Nandi Awards, including Best Feature Film.
