She is suing Wilson for defamation over social media posts, claiming the posts were made knowingly.

Recently, the first day of the hearing concluded. Prior to this, Wilson had made social media claims about how the complaint was made; however, the actress allegedly hid the incident to ‘better her career.’ This claim was labeled as “malicious concoctions” during the court hearing. Wilson’s legal representative, Dauid Sibtain SC, also claimed that the 26-year-old actress benefited after the incident happened. During the court proceeding on Wednesday, he cited, “You obviously hit it off with Ms Stone, and she started conducting enquiries with record companies about the deal,” which the actress fully agreed to.

According to reports shared online, the actress made targeted posts in 2024 and 2025, claiming that ‘The Deb’ star had been “uncomfortable” after sharing a bath with one of the film’s female producers. The claims also cited that the complaint was later retracted in exchange for a theatre role and a record deal.During the court hearing, MacInnes admitted she received a record deal to release two EPs in September 2025, however, the exact amount of the deal was not determined.
