‘Can This Love Be Translated’ , the hot new Korean Drama starring Kim Seon-Ho and Go Youn-Jung, is taking social media by storm. The series follows an actress and a budding romance with her interpreter as they travel the world filming a TV show. Go Youn-Jung stars as Cha Mu-hee, a budding talent. In the first episode, Mu-hee is seen falling from a rooftop while filming the final scene of a horror movie. While she plays a zombie protagonist named Do Ra-mi in the film, the fall leaves her in a coma for months.

The dramatic fall scene, sees her falling over the building ledge and as she falls to the gound, the skie lights up with a burst of firecrackers, making for one cinematic splendid shot. The scene ends with Mu-hee on the ground, looking up at the sky lighting up before everything going black. The series then sees her film coming out, and Mu-hee rising to global, all while she is still unconscious.

Fans react to ‘Can This Love Be Translated’ scene

The scene in question had fans of the K-drama taking to their handles to appreciate the film. “This transition is insane. This fireworks blooming part inexplicably pairs so well with death. It’s perfectly suited to be used as a transition for a “life flashing before your eyes” moment,” read a tweet. Another said, “Theres something so spectacular about this shot, an unknown actress falling & hitting rock bottom as fireworks explode foreshadowing her eventual rise & fame. poetic cinema.” Still another added, “The part where Cha Muhee falls with fireworks as background is such beautiful scene. One of my favorite.”Another shared a quote from the series and wrote, “‘My life had been entirely devoid of fireworks, and here they were, exploding in the distant sky’ Mhee seems to have an underlying sadness that she can’t seem to shake, my heart already breaks at the sight of her tears.”

However, Bollywood fans tuning in to watch the new series were surprised to see that the scene in question was oddly similar to the Bollywood film ‘Fan’, starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. In a tweet, a fan shared, “New Netflix K- Drama Series #CanThisLoveBeTranslated Released Recently Have Reference of #Fan Ending Scene. Almost Exact Copy.” Reacting to the post, a fan tweeted, “This is the global impact of his movies but in his own country he’s hated.””Scene to scene copy,” said another, while another added, “Sad reality his movies which doesn’t perform that much in India perform better in overseas Dunki,Zero,Fan & earlier Swades too.”
